okay, so i've been pretty stoked as of late. One of my art works has found its way into the national paper under student creations. And also the same photograph has gone on exhibition at the Monash Gallery under Top Shots, another student based thing.
17 student artworks is being exhibited. And im quite lucky to be apart of it. Its the debut of this exhibition as well!
I was also lucky that they used my photograph for the flier, the website and on posters that went around the state!

Also, my last year at school is winding to an end! only 4 more weeks of the academic year left, (WOOHOO!). Everything is starting to pile up now, especially the yr12 yearbook, with me as cheif editor!
other than that my Studio Arts folio is due very soon too! Its comprising of my "puppets of society" theme that is shown in my gallery, i have to do atleast 3 art works,
i've done 3 so far, and i still want to expand, if i get the chance.
Each has an Alice in Wonderland theme to it as well.
So far i've looked at the Tea Party, Eat Me/Drink Me, and just finished a shoot with a Queen of Hearts theme to it.

Next i want to look at Tweedle Dee/Tweedle Dum, the Cheshire Cat, and the Caterpiller if i can get around to it ^___________^

for my latest photo shoot Queen of Hearts, i have taken alot of influence from Silent-Order, and most promenantly her work entitled puppen.spiel IV.

I wanted to clarify that i did take appropriate alot of her work, some may see it as total copyright. However i was looking at trying to blend in the idea of a marionette into my work, and when i was looking at the Queen of Hearts, how she controls those around her, and she doesnt allow Alice to speak for her self, "Only speak when your spoken to!!". The look of her work, worked strongly with my concept.

And also, I am not creating art for sale or distribution. I am a student, doing a student folio. I'm not trying to make money out of this. It was just inspiration for me.

And i hope that is understandable to the artist, fans of the artist etc.

It's sort of like sketching another artists drawing for practise.
